Science FUN for little ones!
Our preschool classes will inspire your child’s love of learning
with hands-on exploration.
- Science for Preschoolers is open to children ages 4-6. Older 3 year olds are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent, or guardian.
- Discovery Center Members: $8; Non-Members: $10.

Let it SNOW!

Let’s investigate snow both indoors and outside! We’ll paint snow, learn all about animal tracks in our own backyard, make our own tracks, eat a snowman and look at snowflakes up close.
February 8, 1-2:30 pm or February 10, 9-10:30 am
Join us as we learn about chemistry the hands-on way—by mixing safe household items with candy hearts and other things to see what happens. We will make “love potions” and fuzzy heart art.
All About Owls
March 15, 1-2:30 pm or March 17, 9-10:30 am
Let’s discover everything there is to know about these amazing nocturnal birds! Through games, stories, music and movement we will explore the owl’s world. We will even dissect an owl pellet to find out what was for dinner.
April 5, 1-2:30 pm or April 7, 9-10:30 am
Which animals come from eggs? What are eggs made of? See and feel some real eggs-some tiny and some very big! Make a nest and a mother bird to take home.

Spring is upon us! Learn about seeds, flowers, rain, bugs and other fun spring things. Through springtime stories, crafts and social play, we will appreciate everything spring has to offer.
